Amazon sellers ask us about Private Label Car Detailing Kit every week: “Can you put my logo on the products — or on the packaging?”
Yes. Both. Product surface and packaging. That’s standard work for us.
The next message is usually where things slow down.
“I want a medium-hardness brush, a long-handle brush, and premium towels.”
We can quote that. But the number won’t be right — and the samples won’t match what’s in your head.
Here’s why, and how to describe it properly.
Why Vague Descriptions Break the Quote of Private Label Car Detailing Kit
Car detailing products have an enormous specification range. One phrase can hide dozens of different products.
Take “medium-hardness brush.” It could mean:
- Filament: PP, nylon, boar bristle, horse hair, or a blend
- Diameter: 20 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm, 80 mm
- Handle: straight, long-reach, curved, or T-grip
- Filament length: 10 mm to 50 mm
- Quantity per set: 3, 5, or single units
- Packaging: OPP bag, blister card, color box, or gift set
Each combination has a different cost. “Medium-hardness brush” doesn’t narrow it down — it describes maybe 200 products.
Same with “premium towel.” Premium to one buyer means 400 GSM; to another, 1200 GSM. That’s a 3× material cost difference before we even discuss size.
Specifying a Brush: 6 Details
Here’s what we need to quote a custom detailing brush accurately.
| Detail | Options |
|---|---|
| Filament material | PP / nylon / boar bristle / horse hair / mixed |
| Brush diameter | measured in mm |
| Filament length | affects stiffness and reach |
| Handle type | straight / long-reach / curved / T-grip / wood / plastic |
| Set composition | how many brushes, and which sizes |
| Packaging | bag / blister / color box / retail set |
Even better: tell us the job the brush does. Interior vents? Wheel faces? Leather? Tire sidewalls? The application tells us more than a stiffness rating — because stiffness gets specified against a surface, not in isolation.
Specifying a Towel: 6 Details
Towels are the category where “premium” costs the most guesswork. Six numbers settle it.
| Detail | Typical Options |
|---|---|
| Material | coral fleece / microfiber (80% polyester + 20% polyamide) |
| Weight (GSM) | 300 / 400 / 500 / 600 / 800 / 1200 |
| Size | 30×30 / 30×40 / 40×40 / 40×60 / 60×90 cm |
| Edge finish | ultrasonic cut (edgeless) / locked edge / wrapped edge |
| Color | solid or dual-color |
| Packaging | OPP bag / color sleeve / multi-pack |
The GSM number is the one buyers most often skip — and the one that drives cost hardest. A 400 GSM and a 1200 GSM towel are different products at different price points. Neither is “premium” without the number.
The Other Categories
The same principle applies across the detailing line:
- Wash mops — chenille or microfiber; curved or telescoping handle; length
- Dusters — microfiber head size, handle type
- Foam cannons — connection type, bottle size, foam ratio
- Drill brush kits — piece count, attachment types (polishing / waxing / extension)
- Sponges and mitts — material, density, size

If your kit combines several categories, list each component with its own specification. A kit quote is the sum of its parts — vague parts produce a vague total.
Where the Logo Goes — and How
Once the product is defined, the branding conversation becomes straightforward.
Placement options:
Product surface — brush handles, mop shafts, duster housings
Packaging — box exterior, sleeve, bag front, sticker label
Printing method depends on the surface and shape. Flat and gently curved handle surfaces take screen printing. Curved and contoured surfaces take pad printing, which wraps the shape in a single contact. Both are durable, wash-resistant, and suitable for retail display.
For packaging, methods include offset printing, label application, and hot stamping.
If you already know your logo placement and file format, include it in the first message. If not, we’ll advise once we know the product specification.
The Fastest Way to Get a Precise Quote
Two things shorten the process more than anything else:
Send photos. A photo of the product you have in mind — whether it’s a competitor’s product, a product you’ve sold before, or a reference image — eliminates most guesswork. We can identify the configuration and quote against it directly.
Or pick from our catalog. We maintain a comprehensive product range covering brushes, mops, dusters, mitts, sponges, foam cannons, and complete kits. Choose the item, tell us the quantity and branding requirement, and we’ll quote that specific product.
